Control Tech uses their aluminum fabrication capabilities to make a light weight, fixed seat bolt. Its foundation is a cadmium plated, steel machine bolt. The bolt has a 5mm hex head for tightening, and is threaded with 6mm by 1mm pitched threads. This steel bolt is 45mm long. The bolt head fits into a rod fitting which is machined from aluminum so to recess and enclose the bolt entire bolt head. The nut piece that threads onto the bolt is machined from aluminum rod in a hex shape thattapers to a round surface at the outer end. Its sides are parallel to fit a 13mm wrench, and it has a knurled inner surface. The largest distance the bolt closes on with full thread contact is 31mm, the smallest is 15mm. The two aluminum pieces come anodized in Blue, Black, Lavender or Silver, and the complete steel bolt with weighs 17 grams. Made in USA.

This is the same seat binder bolt with steel metric bolt replaced by a 50mm long Titanium version of the same. The steel original weighs 12 grams, while the Titanium replacement drops to 7 grams. The largest distance the bolt closes on with full thread contact is 36mm, the smallest is 11mm. It uses the same two aluminum pieces, which come anodized in Blue, Black, Lavender or Silver.
