WAVEFLO SPORT SADDLE

The Waveflo Sport is a mens touring styled saddle, that uses a Flolite cushion mixed to a higher viscosity than the Race model, making a softer cushion. The shell and rail assembly are made in Taiwan, by Viscount, of a fairly stiff molded nylon. Over the shell is molded high density, low compression, foam rubber, with a depression for the Flolite package to lay over and surround the saddle top and sides. In the Sport model the Flolite extends from the tip of the saddle to the rear and then slopes down both sides. The Sport saddle is available with one of two coverings, Black lycra or a synthetic cover, that is made of the Astrale material used in the Vetta saddles.

This synthetic material has a thin open cell urethane foam pad back, with a woven nylon fabric between the pad and the rubber-like surface. This Black rubber-like surface is what the rider comes in contact with, and has a smooth, yet non-slippery feel. The outer covering, a synthetic "Astrale-like" fabric is stretched over the saddle, then glued and stapled with short leg staples to the underside of the shell. The shell is molded with a 3 1/4" wide rail return at the rear, in a rectangular housing. The rail ends are located at the front in a molded bridge that joins the top and sides, adding support to the saddle. The rails are made of a single piece of spring steel painted Black.
