I tend to like something simple, traditional and of quality workmanship. As I've said elsewhere in the saddles writing, your bottom will get used to and become comfortable on anything provided you ride frequently enough for the two to become familiar.
I confess that have a Vetta Gel saddle on my bike, which came as part of a greater kit of parts. I haven't worn it out or fallen badly enough to have to replace it. Also the gel hasn't hardened like it did in so many others.
My first choice would be the San Marcos Rolls. It has traditional shape, good design, fine workmanship and resonable weight.
My second choice would be the San Marcos Regal for the same reasons.
