Twisters are the next incarnation of the Ringle skewer phenomena. These are none-cam operational, and rely on the rider tightening the small nut on the right side of the bike hand and then using the paddle of the lever to turn (Twist) the skewer and finally tighten it. The lever rotates around a stainless steel pivot connected to the skewer so that you can change its position to avoid the fork blade. The lever is made of machined 7075-T6 aluminum, and revolves against a sintered brass washer that has a concave face to conforms to the shape of the revolving lever. The brass washer butts against an aluminum washer with a knurled inner face. This 20mm diameter washer makes contact with the hub. The volute springs are made of steel wire. The nut, with a 20mm contact diameter, is machined of aluminum with a knurled inner face. The front Twisters weighs 43.5 grams, the rear weighs 46.5 grams. Twisters come anodized in Blue, Black, Grey, Lavender, Silver, Red or Tie-Dye. Made in USA.
