Sampson FAT Wrap combines a slightly wider, thick, tape with the absorbency of a vinyl foam exterior. FAT wrap is 1 5/32" inches wide with both edges tapered on the bottom. The foam tape retains the foam feel for the top surface, so it absorbs moisture like cork ribbon, is completely washable with the color throughout the thickness of the tape, so a fall won't reveal a White foam base like other foam based tapes. There is a self adhesive strip running down the middle of the tape's bottom. FAT wrap comes as two rolls of 67" long tape, with two 4" strips to cover the back of the brake lever. Also included is two strips of finishing tape to hold the inner edge down and a pair of chrome plated convex plastic end plugs. The weight of the tape and plugs is 56 grams. It is available in solid colors of Blue, Black, Green, Pink, Red, Turquoise, and White. It is also available in "marble" colors incorporating two shades of a common color and White.
