The Dia-Compe cable hanger is made of forged 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. This is a headset/headlock mounting hanger. The piece fits between the upper headset cone race and the headlock nut. Stem removal is necessary for installation. The hanger will add 5mm to the stack height of your headset. You will need 5mm of extra thread on the steerer tube.
The DC cable hanger comes with an aluminum barrel adjuster and a an aluminum fixing nut to hold its position. The DC cable hanger is available in Black or Silver in either a 1" or a 1 1/8" headset diameter. The 1" size weighs 20.5 grams and the 1 1/8" weighs 22 grams. Made in the Orient.
