This is a Taiwan replacement brake inner wire. The wire is made of several steel strands wound together then drawn through a die to make a perfect 1.5mm outer diameter. The cable has a lead "ball" anchor at one end for use in Road brake sets and a lead "barrel" anchor at the other end for mountain bike use, so cutting the lead end off that you don't need makes the right cable for you. The inner wire is 65" (1650mm) long so it can be cut to length for use as a front or a rear inner wire. In its un-cut length with both ends it weighs 21.5 grams
