Archival Review of American ISO-Bridge Brake BoosterAMERICAN ISO-BRIDGE
Made by Electrofusion for American Bicycle of St. Cloud Minnesota. The Iso-Bridge gives the appearance of being machined but is really die-cut from 5mm thick 7075-T6 aluminum plate. Tri-angle shaped cuts make a sizable weight reduction while leaving "trussed" rigidity in the piece. The Iso-Bridge has a total height of 130mm and at its widest is also 130mm. The inner height of the Iso-Bridge is 105mm and the inner width between the arms at the bottom is 53mm. The Bridge comes with two aluminum spacers that are 17.5mm in diameter and 14.25mm high. Two 6mm by 1mm threaded steel bolts that have a 35mm length , a 5mm hex fitting and a 9 gram weight. The Iso-Bridge weighs 47.5 grams and the mounting hardware weighs 32.5 grams, bringing the total weight to 80 grams. The Iso-Bridge comes anodized in Blue, Black, Lavender or Silver.
